Also, sadly, etched monstrosity doesn't work with the torbor orb.

"Torpor Orb won't prevent Etched Monstrosity from entering the battlefield with counters on it, simply because Torpor Orb prevents abilities from triggering, and placing counters on Etched Monstrosity isn't a triggered ability at all (no Whenever, or At)."

Sundial is another way to cancel the ETB effects. Strictly a backup plan. Also yeah I realized the Etched Monstrosity thing earlier. Replaced with Treacherous Pit-Dwellers.
