Dark Harvest EDH (EDH / Commander)

Mechanical Goal: Kill your small guys as fast and often as possible to build up Meren's experience, then use self-milling and discard engines to bring out your tougher creatures. Most creatures in the deck either have sacrifice engines (eldrazi scions, thallids, etc.) or Enter-the-Battlefield/Sacrifice effects (Thragtusk, Greenwarden, etc.) You're in it for the long haul, and it's going to be hard to out-value your commander... but we've got a few one-shots to keep you in the game if Meren's being locked down (Victimize, Rise from the Grave, etc.)

Thematic Goal: The darker side of the natural world, weaponized to take out your enemies. Meren is a Green/Black who feels like a Druid/Necromancer, and the cards in this deck intend to evoke that same feeling. All the creatures are beasts, elementals, fungus, plants, or some form of "natural undead" etc. (with the exception of her friends and fellow druids the Eternal Witness, and Sakura-Tribe Elder, but they have their own natural bends that fit well)
