Quasibirbs! (Standard)

I'm a simple man: I REALLY like birbs. So I've made this monoU deck that relies on filling the board with birbies with the aid of murmuring mystic (I know him as Murman) and his quasiduplicate friends.

Tempest djinn is another threat that can be quasiduplicated if needed, as a tall alternative of our main "go wide" plan. It could be specially devastating on early turns, and it also works like a lightning rod to removal that would otherwise go against Murman, and it's certainly a card that works awesome in almost any monoU brew.

Merfolk trickster works as a combat trick (now I get that name :o), and it also enables our wizard's retort on earlier turns. Being monoU, it's not hard at all to pay that double U for her, and it can serve as early protection against aggro matchups.

Lastly, favorable winds works like a doubler for our birbs stats, and it also protects them from goblin chainwhirler and Niv-Mizzet, parun's pings. If we manage to get 2 in play, it can also protect them from golden demise and other 2 thoughness removal, but its main utility is to pump our bird army, accelerating the clock. Also, it's worth noting that it puts tempest djinn out of lava coil range.
