To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
my first time playing andy's lightly modified cardkingdom cube. i opened disk into cloudblazer, then a string of white cards - precinct captain, sunblast angel, sun titan, and icy manipulator all joined my deck early. i even wheeled a cloudgoat ranger! red was clearly most open in the pack, but i didn't love all the cheap burn spells - i was more feeling 2-for-1 life, which sounds strong in a low power cube like this one. pack 3 helped round things out with a lot of good low-curve blue cards to smooth out draws.
i beat quinn in match 1 on BWg midrange. he had a light reanimator touch, and also had some bombs like enslave and angel of serenity. i sided in some of the blink cards in my board (momentary blink, a UW one with flashback) to fight against those pretty effectively and managed to edge him out. he had good long game, as did i.
i wrecked leon's RW equipment focused deck g2. icy manipulator really messed up his grafted wargear plans. he was nowhere near fast enough to deal with my more powerful cards.
i beat barry's sultai pile in m3. he had a very good midrangey deck, but his top end felt pretty weak - hard for him to close out games. i won g1 with an aggro draw - lawkeeper / precinct captain / looter / you hear something on watch all to beat down. i think it tricked him into sideboarding vs aggro, which i was not!
g2 was a great one - i missed a land drop early, and was thus behind for most of the game. but he didn't really have lots of gas to finish me. i had all the action, but had to sequence well; sunblast crushed his board when he wanted to end the game; cloudgate ate removal but left behind bodies; sun titan provoked bane of the living to wipe all our boards; oona was left standing to win the game for me. using my threats in the right order felt really important. fun match, fun 3-0, fun cube.
