Sliving End (EDH / Commander)

Caution: While it's not fast enough for cEDH, this is a mean deck. It was played exactly once, and then retired.

The goal of the deck is to amass a durable army of Slivers while scouring your opponents' boards by repeatedly cascading into Living End. To facilitate this, we run several CMC 1 Slivers, no other CMC 0 cards, and very few non-Sliver cards at CMC 2 or less that you would normally expect. We also run very little countermagic, as it sucks to cascade into. Cryptic Command and Archmage's Charm keep some utility in the event they are cascaded into, and Force of Will is too high CMC to worry about.

We run Soul-Guide Lantern to have a way of keeping concurrent Living Ends from bringing our opponents' creatures back. Elixir of Immortality and Feldon's Cane put Living End and the Lantern back in our library so they can be recurred and also to provide a response to getting Bojuka Bog'd. Quest for Ancient Secrets can also do either of these things, though less reliably. Training Grounds is too good to exclude, as it helps enable an infinite combo with Sliver Queen as a backup win-con if the game runs long. Finally, Sylvan Library and Scroll Rack help stack the top of our library for more efficient cascades.

A less mean version of the deck can be played by sideboarding Profane Tutor or Ancestral Vision in place of Living End. If you do, also board out Soul-Guide Lantern and Quest for Ancient Secrets for Vanquish the Horde and Blasphemous Act.
