So, I've changed the strategy from "lands matter" to "land destruction" because, one of my friends with who I regulary play MTG with also, made a lands matter deck with our lord as commander. the only difference is that he made it better. Like i've said, If I can't be original and the only lord windgrace in (regular) my playgroup I will make a land destruction theme around him :p.
I knew the moment I change to this strategy, my power level would be reduced to 5 or 6 because, "land destruction" is very hard to pull of just like "infect".
With this deck you're going to piss off people that's for sure but, let's face it, land destruction is viable wincon as any! Your cards are going to be targets the moment you play them and so will probably you if, you succesfully destroy your opponents lands.
So how do I win? well ideally you have Lord windgrace out with at least 3 or 4 loyalty counters on him then, succesfully destroy your opponents lands. you'll -3 him and immediatly get 2 lands back to jumpstart your victory route. but like i've said it's difficult.. first Lord WG has to survive all your enemy's then your land destruction spell needs to resolve. and in if it all worked out as planned they might already have a few creatures or other pieces that help them take you out or help them back up.
but there're lots of things in here to abuse. like a destroy all lands but before you let it resolve play an heroic intervention to keep all your lands. (watch out they might have that too)
let's say you do not have out Lord at your side when you destroy them lands but, an ob nixilis, the fallen then, you just play lands to bring your opponent's life total down and swing with him for the win.
ramunap excavator and crucible of world let's you play lands from the grave, wich is, ofcourse, great =p
now there are some cards that let your opponets think twice before they play something to prevent you from being soo destructive. PRICE OF GLORY destroys lands if they play something in your turn ! DEFENSE GRID makes your opponents spells cost 3 more.
now this deck is far from finished I need to find solutions to protect my lands as i destroy my opponent's lands
I play tested 11/01/2021 and couldn't win because I did not get enough lands to over value my opponents.
I also learned that destroying lands when they have already enough value on the board aint going to do much good for me =p
it's a learning expierence because it's my first time i play with a land destruction deck
