I constructed this deck unintentionally from exploring options with my last deck that I made [LLL]
Graveyard is my forte and I believe I found a loophole with black/blue.
So grab a snack, check your wallet, and relax while you read into this amazing graveyard control tactic.
[What type of deck is this]
Self Milling the big bois - Milling your library to add big creatures in your graveyard that you will resurrect post turn 5.
Surveil Draw Control - Drawing what you need, and graveyarding what you are unable to cast.
Life Leeching - Stealing the life of your opponents health pool with Creeping Chill
Board Control - Removing your opponents creatures and permanents to maintain board dominance.
[What is the goal?]
The main goal is with 3 cards. Doom Whisperer, Enhanced Surveillance and Creeping Chill. If you are able to get a Doom Whisperer on the board with at least 2 Enhanced Surveillance. You will win the game by self milling Creeping Chill with Doom Whisperer 's ability, and setting your future draws to be Connive // Concoct . Then with Connive // Concoct you can bring back a Lotleth Giant for a finisher, or a Dream Eater for board control and more self milling with Dream Eater 's ability combined with Enhanced Surveillance.
NOTE: There are backup plans if you are unable to perform Doom Whisperer and Enhanced Surveillance combo.
[Flaws]
If your opponent gets board control before you, It will be hard to come back.
You'll need 5 mana before you start to show dominance.
Discard Decks will beat you 9/10 if you don't get board control first.
With the new Ravnica Allegiance set there is a lot of cheap costing removal cards to put a halt to your game plan.
You'll need big creatures in your graveyard before you can do ANYTHING to pose a threat.
Hope to mill the cards you need. (it's not that big of a flaw because you will mill something you need by turn 5 most of the time)
[Strengths]
Heavy board control.
Surveil will allow you to draw what you need and toss what you can't use which will be advantageous by turn 5.
Opponents won't know what your are doing until it's too late.
2 Enhanced Surveillance with 1 Doom Whisperer easily wins the game.
Life Leech with Creeping Chill that is unstoppable.
[Key Focuses]
ALWAYS pay attention to what you are milling so you know what you can bring back, If you don't do this the deck will be moot.
You ALWAYS want to have 5 mana by turn 5.
Turns 1-3 should be all about self milling 'mainly' with Stitcher's Supplier and Wall of Lost Thoughts. Also Surveil to fish for what you need from your library. Whether it be land cards to get to 5 mana, creature cards to control the board, Resurrection cards to bring strong creatures turn 5, or Enhanced Surveillance.
I know you don't want to spend the money on Land, but land is the most important piece to any magic ingredient. GET THE LAND CARDS FIRST.
You never want to start out with Creeping Chills in your hand (MULLIGAN). You also never want to draw a Creeping Chill. (it's a waste of 4 mana and a turn).
Always want to try and get an Enhanced Surveillance on the board between turns 1-3. If you can get 2 Enhanced Surveillance down early that's great! It will cost you board control if your opponent is pressuring.
Typically try to get the second one down post turn 5.
THIS IS THE BARE BONES OF THIS DECK DESCRIPTION
