Eight-and-a-Half Years (Public) (EDH / Commander)

It'll probably take you or your opponent about that long to win, won't it?

This is a pillow-fort deck that was originally built with a $65 budget, but has been upgraded over time to add a few more valuable pieces. Most of the cards don't really need much explaining, though one note: Sanctum Prelate is used specifically to turn off Cyclonic Rift by naming 2, it's also why Nevermore is in there. In my play group specifically, it's also used sometimes on 6 to turn off Bolas's Citadel.

The goal is to prevent all sorts of damage to yourself and ensure that you stay in the game for as long as possible. You're eventually going to want to win with Aetherflux Reservoir assuming you have the life to power it, otherwise use Solemnity with Celestial Convergence since your defense with this deck should be high enough to ensure that you have the highest life total.

Sideboard has cards that I almost certainly will include at some point, but don't have yet.

Maybeboard is filled with cards that would be great for the deck to have, but are much too expensive to justify (for most part).
