Designed to be a planeswalker midrange-control deck. Named "Hot Mess Naya" by a testing opponent and I liked it. It's a variation of my Naya Good Stuff from SOI-standard.
UPDATE 170127
Moved Snares to the SB and dropped Blessed Alliance for Harnessed Lightning. Also took out the shadowlands for an aether hub, evolving wilds, and a basic mountain.
Harnessed Lightning has trouble getting to the requisite 4 dmg (for Felidar Guardian) but still more reliable than Stasis Snare (CMC3 and double white hurts a lot in tricolor decks).
UPDATE 20170124
I added a land and re-did the mana selection. I didn't do the math so it probably still needs to be adjusted but it feels better than it did before.
It helps that I also lowered the curve. I brought Blessed Alliance into the main deck to help deal with Heart of Kiran - it incidentally helps our Fevered Visions match-up. I dropped angel package for 3-drops - most notably: Maulfist Revolutionary. He comes with trample and helps the PWs top off faster. I don't believe he's being maximized here but it's an idea that's been performing okay so far.
Sigarda was moved to the board for Verdurous Gearhulk. Avacyn and Sigarda are mostly interchangable in this deck - flash is nice but 5 toughness is nice too - it depends on your match-up. With the prevalence of G/B decks - I'm inclined to give Sigarda the start.
One Eldrazi Displacer for shenanigans with Avacyn, Gearhulk, and Maulfist. It's not the plan so you don't care if it comes down early and dies.
Nissa and Ajani were moved to the board to support the additions and speed up the deck. Thalia, Cataclysmic, and Lifecrafter's were all cut down to 1 as they are hate cards for respective match-ups. Nahiri was cut entirely as she needs more of a control shell than I have here and better tutor targets.
As a result of the changes, we're probably soft to enchantments and panharmonicon. I'm considering adding Collective Effort to the side instead of the 3rd Stasis Snare and/or Declaration in Stone.
OLD Description:
Heart of Kiran is a problem for this deck which makes it a priority target for Stasis Snare. Combined with Gideon, we have very few ways of dealing with it - hence the inclusion of Gisela - to help punch through the flying vehicles.
Control is our biggest weakness - as it usually generates far more card advantage than our planeswalkers provide. A resolved Lifecrafter's Bestiary however, helps mitigate that.
Land count looks soft but I count Oath of Nissa as half a land; putting us at 25 lands total. That's usually enough as once we hit 4 mana it's usually smooth sailing.
