I liked Otrimi when the Ikoria/C20 commander precons first released. Or, I wanted to like Otrimi. In practice, he's slow, and there just aren't enough mutate cards in Sultai to put in the graveyard to make his ability really take off. So I filled the deck with as many mutate cards as I could and switched to the more reliable Brokkos at the helm. Hats off to you if you've found a way to make Otrimi more fun! :(

I think the Surgeon General Commander would be a great mutate-tribal commander, silver-bordered or not. Access to 5 colors would allow me to shamelessly put all the mutate cards in the deck.

Changes I think would help: a better mana base; more mill & graveyard shenanigans; more, better mutate targets.
