Resilient Wanderer (PDH) (EDH / Commander)

Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander and the 99 are commons.

This mono-white deck is yet another white voltron deck from yours truly, helmed by Resilient Wanderer which as the name suggests is very resilient — she has built in protection at the cost of discarding a card.

This means the deck much like another deck doesn't need to run protection in the 99.

The downside is it's in the colour that struggles the most with card advantage and it's a 2/3 for 4 mana which is a bit slow.

To deal with the downsides we run a fair amount of ramp at 2cmc in order to hopefully get a commander T3. The deck also runs as much card advantage & cantripping cards as it can. The deck also has a fair amount of cards that can be discarded and then used from the graveyard e.g. Kindly Ancestor.

For this deck I decided to lean a bit more towards equipment rather than auras as giving Resilient Wanderer pro-white would make the auras fall off. This contributes to slowing the already fairly slow deck down even more.

The remaining threats to the commander are edicts and colourless removal. The latter is negligibly rarely played and for edicts the deck has a fair amount of chump bodies. The deck also runs less interaction as going 1 for 1 is card disadvantage - might be worth running a bit more though.
