Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist Politics Deck (EDH / Commander)

This commander might be the most fun of all my collection. The deck is not very powerful, but the lack of strength deceives most opponents and might sneak you to victory (lack of strenght means not that you are easy to kill). You are going to have a ton of fun with this weird mix of seafood, salamanders and political/ group hug stuff that confuses opponents and outsmarts them.

In itself, the deck does not have an ultimate built-in wincon in form of combos. This deck is designed for taking advantage of the strongest creature-based decks in the game to beat the other opponents for you while giving the least creature based decks the salamanders for a sense of false security. Cards like Eon Frolicker combined with Stunt Double or Sakashima's Protege give the strongest-creature based opponents incentive to go against the other players excluding you and making them more threatening to the other players (probably resulting in boardwipes or that opponent killed). Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Rites of Flourishing, Portal Mage, Sly Instigator and War Tax give an added benefit to the opponents to go for one another, since they surely build more threatening boardstates than yours + the added benefits doing so. At the end, you might have few salamanders by yourself that your can make them fly (wonder), eliminating those salamanders or tokens of the opponents with Selective Snare or getting them for you with Peer Pressure. Standardize, Echoing Courage, Peer Pressure, Mass Manipulation and Fade Away will give you the right answers paired with counterspells to win the game over a battered last opponent that has already lost so much fighting the other two at the table.
