This is something I have been working on to see if it is possible to make a somewhat competitive Niv-Mizzet deck.
Obviously the primary win condition is with Niv-Mizzet. Because of this, I included Curiosity for a pretty cool combo, as well as Blue Sun's Zenith to do a massive amount of damage at once as well as for card draw.
As for the other creatures, I decided on using Pyromancer and Delver. I love Pyromancer as you can use it in an aggro deck or control deck. In this case, I would most likely be using it for control as it can build up a wall of blockers. As for Delver, he gives me an alternate win condition as it will be easy to transform him due to the huge number of instants and sorcery's I have. I also decided to put in Jace as he is a low cost Planeswalker that gives me yet another way to draw cards.
As i said, this is a complete work in progress that is in it's early stages. The only reason I posted this is so you guys can give me feedback (I especially need it for my sideboard lol).
