Hastune Miku Is Jetmir's Oshi - Sidegraded (EDH / Commander)

We first need to pick a Commander that fits nicely with Miku. My first inclination was Kit Kanto, Mayhem Diva for a fellow singer, but I really wanted to represent the fans of Miku and I don't know about you, but I identify more with a mass of rabid fans empowered by the presence of their favorite Vocaloid. Jetmir, Nexus of Revels gives off those vibes perfectly.
Even better, the Cabaretti and the kind of party-fueled landscapes they cultivate are exactly in line with Miku's vibes. She would absolutely put on a small concert in Jetmir's Garden or put on an absolute banger of a show in the Cabaretti Courtyard. Of course, Jetmir also vibes perfectly with many Miku tunes.
The vast majority of music featuring miku is a Rousing Refrain, many artists making ample use of their own Bard Class while the Chord of Calling brings fans together. These cards are also key to our deck, helping fuel plays, empower a notable number of legends, and bring important players in when we need them.
Similarly, the deck is packed with the kind of enchanting songs that are really worthy of Miku and the community built around her. Composer of Spring is another fine musicious, Song of Freyalise shows the gathering of those fans again, and Song of the Worldsoul is the ultimate expression of music bringing people together.
Of course, the flavor is already here, I could just put in every card with the word "song" in it and dust off my hands, but we can do so much better. Jetmir wants lots of creatures and we an give it to him, but Hatsune Miku demands a powerful beat to go along with the beatdown. Impact Tremors can win games almost on its own, but in combination with Grand Crescendo, March of Multitudes, and other mass token producers Miku's beat becomes a win.
Hatsune Miku is a digital Idol, deserving of the worship we can get out of an Idol of Oblivion. Similarly, that gathering of fans I love so much is perfectly expressed in Rite of Harmony and my favorite little card draw engine is Welcoming Vampire. Of course, the Vampire also gives me plenty of reason to share yet another Miku bop.
All the better, Miku's music is vast and varied in form and genre— the power of vocaloids coming through in their ability to be used in essentially any composition. Similarly, the fans and the tokens that represent them come in all shapes and sizes. From hordes of the smallest from Song of Totentanz and Loyal Apprentice to some moshpit crushing creatures from Ghired, Conclave Exile.
Speaking of that mosh, we want to win. Sometimes our board will get big enough that Jetmir, Nexus of Revels will get the job done, but not always. Our biggest, stompiest fans join the crowd to get the job done, with Avenger of Zendikar and Ghalta and Mavren both generating armies easily while Craterhoof Behemoth is the classic wide board finisher. Classic, and worthy of its own theme song.
With all of these notes combined, the end result is a powerful composition that cannot be ignored. If you want to turn the music up to 11 and overrun the game with some Miku themed beats, you'll find nothing better than this list. Just queue up a playlist of the best Hatsune Miku songs and get ready to dance all over the opposition.
