Hi iam testing blue moon since 2month. and this is the list and why it is this list.

3 steam vents : it is able to fetch and has both Colors
7 Island : u Need this because your blood moon and u can fetch them
1 mountain: able to fetch. red source. one is enough because blood moon
3 Sulfur falls: never feel bad. choke-save. both Color
4 scalding tarn: fetch your lands. make your next draw better. both Color
4 flooded strand: able to fetch Island. cheaper than other blue fetchlands. make your draws better.

4 Serum visons: best blue cantrip i think. u can Keep Hands with one land and looking for the next with it.
2 ancestral Vision: just 2 because after turn 3-4 it is the worst topdeck ever. in the early game it is nice to have it and it feels so goooood when it resolves.

2 mana leak: 80% hard Counter against something what we dont like
4 remand: very important Card. when u cast it.. he keeps it in Hand. u draw a Card. then in your turn blood moon and maybe now his Card is a dead handcard because he cant cast it again. and remand is good in counterwar. remand target own spells, and good against Cards with suspend like living end, ancestral recall and so on. and good against Cards with delve like tasigur ect

2 cryptic command: best Counter in modern. easy to cast. lot of value. 2 because it dont feeld god in the start Hand and early game. later u can flashback it with snapccaster mage

2 spell snare: important Counter in modern vs tarmogoyf, snapcaster, merfolk, storm, affinity,burn but bad vs tron and elves.

2 vapor snag: it is cheap to cast. god vs big creatures and expensive creatures. but not a Card for a Long results against the big creatures. but instant is important too. for affinity,infect and so on. better than sorcery Speed like flame slash or roast. and easy to flashback. maybe return your own snapcaster after blocking. and possible than he cant cast the creatures again because blood moon.

4 lightning bolt : i think nothing to say about it.

2 burst lightning : god against fast creature decks like merfolk,affinity,melira,infect, and so on. and lategame god for 4 damage but expensive costs. but it dont feel bad when u have it. and it is cheap for flip thin in the ice.

3 Thing in the ice: amazing in this deck. it blocks small creatures like kitchen Finks, goblin guide, nacatle, ect- fast creature decks is a bad matchup. and Thing helps us a lot again this decks to win time. and often it is a finisher in turn4. i was testing 4 copies but it is too much. dont feel good when u have 2 in Hand and than u Play against storm or so on. because this 3 is enough

4 snapcaster mage: the blue king. value time. and helps to flip the Thing.
1 vendilion clique: eot clique to take removel against blood moon. than cast blood moon. very nice against jund and junk and every 3c control deck, and power 3 feels good. just 1 in main because it is legendary and ist not so nice vs fast aggro decks. but a 2nd in sb

4 blood moon: maincard in the deck. 4 copies because u want to Play it turn3. so u want a copy in each Hand.

2 spreading seas: enchant the Basics of the oppenent to cut him of his last Color source.

2 spellskite: vs affinity to block etched Champion and Keep safe against arcbound ravanger. god vs infect,bogles,death shadow ect

2 relic of progenitus: Need vs control, Dredge, storm, living end, ect.

1 dispel : good Counter. 1 is enough bcs u have also 2 negate and negate is better.

2 negate: important against scapeshift,living end,ad naseum,storm,planeswalker,CHOKE,

1 vendilion clique: beater vs tron, read up in mainbord.

2 Anger of the gods. safe way vs melira, Dredge,elves, ... 2 copies because when you board it in so u want to have one of sure.

2 smelt: i think it is better than vandalblast, shattering spree, shatterstorm bcs it is instand. so u can kill manlands with plating. and use it vs aether vial. and instant is importang for snapcaster mage.

1 counterflux: best Card vs ad naseum and storm.

1 izzet staticaster: amazing vs small creatures like birds, witness, hierach, infect, Soul sisters ect. and it is beter than electrolyze.

1 keranos: best Card vs jund. hard matchup. good vs control


maybe:

electrolyze: important in a controldeck like grixis and of course jeskai. but in this deck is it better to be save.
manacost 3 vs aggro tempo decks is too slow. and it is too expnsive to flip the Thing. and in this meta i see no reason for electrolyze.and not in this deck. when u see u Play vs small creatures than u board izzet staticaster.

slame slash/ roast: dont feel good and i dont know which one..one of them dont kill tasigur and goyf..and the ofter on dont kill spell queller, rstoration angel,...

grim lavamancer: good Card. test it..maybe 1 in sb or mb.

harvest pyre: good removel. but if they board graveyard hate your snapcaster are bad. and then u dont Need a Card more what is dead in the game. and not each time able to cast because not enough Cards in grave. and i think harcest pyre OR lavamancer.. both are terrible.

pia and kiran nilaar: dont know..is it better than Thing? finisher? maybe strong vs affinity infect and control. but control and infect is an easy match up

vedalken shakles: if not in blue moon so in which deck?! mb too slow .feels so bad in Hand. but maybe in sb vs big creatures. but everyone has removel against artefacts. and just say kolaghans command.

wurmcoil: horrible vs path to Exile. best blocker vs etched Champion but mostly too late.

the deck feels good !!!
it is strong against 3c decks and a lot of 2c decks.
but it is very hard if the blood moon doensnt work.
and it feels like u Need some removel. you have big Problems vs reality smasher, tarmogoyf, tasigur and so on.
and iam looking for a removel for this. and i think vapor snag is the best one but iam not sure. maybe u have an idea ? so let me know your Brainstorming.
bad matchups are affinity, burn, tron, merfolk, 1c aggro decks. maybe u have an idea to beat them.
