This is the deck I want to build. To me, it looks solid and will work. You mentioned having the parts to make this deck and although the pieces are about $200 away, I can build it and it'll be good.
Only thing I'd change is Thoughtseize to mind rot, same thing just a couple more to cast, cheaper to buy and it gets rid of two cards rather than one. Plus when it rotates out, I won't be down $80 from four copies of it, more like $5 for four copies of mind rot. Plus I have two, so I would be halfway there with that. Then the deck is also so much cheaper.
I can get foil versions of Sandsteppe Citadel and Siege Rhino and a regular Windswept Heath all for decently cheap and the entire playset, too. So it's even better.
