I've had a lot of success with this deck at various events, including a top 8 at a game day.

I Personally prefer this archetype, over the more competitively played Abzan CoCo elves, which also runs rally with ancestors.

The reason I prefer this, is because that between with number of 2 drops, and elf tokens, it is more effective to flood the board and kill the enemy with shaman of the pack.

Know issues:
Its hard to come back after the opponent plays Languish. It is possible (I've done it!) but it takes a lot of luck to do so.
The deck has no way to deal with massive indestructible eldrazi (Ulamog). I've experimented with running Foul-Tongue Invocation. But given that its only 1 deck, I haven't run it

Before BFZ, I was running 4x Thornbow Archer (in place of the Zulaport Cutthroat), but found myself losing to much to board clear, and long, drawn out control games. Now that BFZ is out, Zulaport more or less makes it that we can't lose to languish, because if the opponent plays it, they'd lose 7-8 life, and I'd gain 7-8 life.

Also, before Cutthroat, I rarely defended with any creatures, because I wanted to maximise the damage from Shaman of the Pack, but now I can, because Cutthroat gives the consolation prize of draining 1 life.

That was a brief history of the deck. Now the cards:

Shaman of the Pack - The card this deck is built around. Play it essentially when its the last card in your hand, to maximize the damage it can do.

Collected Company - The namesake card of the deck. Allows us to fetch 2 cards from the top of our library. The best things to fetch are a Shaman of the Pack, and a Dwynen's Elite. Because triggers go on the stack, you can get an elf token, and then resolve the shaman damage.

Gnarlroot Trapper - Great card; allows you to attack early with other creatures, because you can guarantee a trade because of his second ability. Inexperienced, or ignorant players may not even know about his second ability, and you can usually trade a decent card for your 1/1 Elf Token.

Elvish Visionary - Pretty bad. By itself, its a 1/1 for 2, and if it wasn't for its card draw, I would probably rather take a Thorbow Archer. But it does have the card draw, and being an elf, its a cheap creature that allows Shaman of the Pack to deal more damage.

Beastcaller Savant - Again, before BFZ I was running 4x Leaf Gilder. But this card has 2 advantages. 1) it has haste, so it can tap for mana immediately on turn 2, whereas Leaf Gilder can't tap for mana until turn 3. 2) Beastcaller Savant can tap for both black and green mana.
Obviously, leaf gilder is better in that it can tap to add a mana for your cast of Collected Company, but Collected Company is the only noncreature spell in the deck, so its not the end of the world. And its still and elf! (more damage from Shaman)

Zulaport Cutthroat - I pretty much said everything I need to about this card above. Its the perfect edition to this deck. The only downside is that it isn't an elf, but it is its own win-con in it self, so its a fair trade.

Nissa, Vastwood Seer - You could take out an Elvish Visionary to run a second, but Nissa isn't super effective in the deck, though the card draw is great, because this deck has no real combat tricks (other then Gnarlroot Trapper). And because most of the cards are low CMC (you'll be playing them this turn of next turn) the card draw her planeswalker side provides is great. Besides that, land fetch is nice, but not super necessary.
Really though, she is just another elf. If you wanted to take her out (because you don't have, or don't want her) I'd replace it with another Gnarlroot Trapper. The only reason she is in, is because she doesn't have a downside, but there is nothing that makes her really shine in this deck.

Woodland Bellower - This card is great, because, in the late game, (when your board is most filled up) you can tutor for a Shaman of the Pack, and next turn play a Shaman of the Pack from your hand, typically, winning you the game.

Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen - Perfect Elf love card, in a primarily elf deck. +1/+1 to all elfs grants you even more flexibility with attacking and defending. Because of the fact that she is a 4 drop and a legendary creature, we are only running 2, but this is generally enough. Attacking with her on the field is a secondary win-con, we (some how) you aren't drawing Shaman of the Pack or Woodland Bellower.

Dwynen's Elite - Is an amazing card. 2 for the price of 1! Her token makes the perfect bait for tapping a Gnralroot Trapper to give the token deathtouch. Nothing else to say really, despite how good the card is

Sylvan Messenger - This card is also really great. Its basically a smaller version of collected company, in the body of a 2/2 with trample. There is nothing more satisfying then seeing you opponent's face when you put 2 Shaman of the Packs into your hand

Land Base is simple enough.
I take forests and swamps to match the mana distribution, then I add 2 forests and remove 2 swamps, because the deck runs more double greens, and no black cards with a CMC greater then 3. I then removed 2 forests, and 2 swamps replaceing them with Llanowar wastes, because they are the only GB lands you can get in standard right now.
Llanowar wastes is great because it enteres untapped, and paying 1 life to gain anadvantage is a bragin really.

So that was the main deck, what about the sideboard?

Gilt-Leaf Winnower - Great card; side in when against Seige Rhino or any deck which runs big creatures that can be destroyed with Gilt-Leaf Winnower

Plummet - Besides Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen, this deck has no way to deal with fliers. So Plummet is a no brainer. Side in when against dragons, or

Bone Splinters - The only removal noncreature spell in the deck. I've tried Ultimate Price, and it wasn't great. This deck rarely has enough mana to cast it, because you're constantly throwing out 2 and 3 drops. So take a 1 drop removal spell, sac a token, get a trigger from Zulaport Cutthroat. It's quite effective really.

Eyeblight Massacre - This is the deck's answer to Atarka Red, and other rush decks. The card is perfect, because its a mini Languish that doesn't damage any of your creatures, and doesn't kill your Woodland Bellower. The only downside is that it kills Cutthroat, which sucks, but you get a trigger as a consolation prize.

So yeah, thats my favourite deck in standard right now. Its amazingly effective, esspecially for its relatively low price. Elf is love. Elf is life.
