Doom of the Dreadhorde (Esper Discard Control bo1) (Standard)

Premise:
*Control deck focusing on hand disruption. The deck keeps the opponent's resources to a minimum throughout the game and slowly grinds them out.

• The win-cons in the deck are limited. The obvious payoff card is Command the Dreadhorde. Davriel or creature attacks give you a slow grind to a win. Doom Foretold is a big advantage, but again is a slow path to a win.

Why this deck now?
*The format has substantially slowed down. A lot of the meta is midrange decks and tempo flash decks. If you hit these decks early with disruption, I feel you can safely grind out a win.

My thoughts on this particular deck?
I like the premise, but feel the deck is a bit too slow. While it is true that your opponent is going to have a horrible time playing their cards, it also feels as though you are very dependent on drawing Command the Dreadhorde to win.
I'm interested in seeing how powerful a Grixis version of the deck could be. The Grixis version loses a few cards, however the core of the deck stays intact.

Why did I try White?
Teferi, Oath of Kaya, and Kaya's Wrath are all very powerful cards right now.
If you can play hand disruption early which allows you to sneak Teferi in on turn three, your game against flash decks swings so hard back towards you. Shutting off their counters is so vital.
