BG Aristosaps (Standard)

Main strategy/theme: Create saprolings via Spore Swarm, Saproling Migration and Slimefoot. Utilize Poison-Tip Archer/Bontu/Slimefoot to drain opponents.

Other strategy: Get turn 3/4 Demon of Catastophes into play, or turn 4 Torgaar to halve opponent's life total and try to beat in or drain for the rest.

Considering cutting 2x Ballista for the addition of 2x Tendershoot Dryad, but iffy on it at the moment. Curve is already steep in an aggressive local Standard meta.

Update 7/30: 2-1 during last standard showdown event. Lost to Grixis Pirates. Barely came out ahead against Mono B Zombies. A number of cards underperformed and are getting cut in favor of lords, saproling generators and better removal options. Managed to trade toward some much needed Vraska's Contempts. Was hesitant to cut Journey, but feel like it's a tad too slow to use favorably.

Am focusing less on the sacrifice portion and saving that mostly for Demon, and Torgaar which was cut to a one-of. While still my main wincon, having a backup plan of a buffed saproling army is nice.
