This is my all-time classic deck. Bought from an old schoolmate many many years ago, I've been improving it with the passing years, focusing on its Zombie tribal orientation.
When we bought the Premium Deck Series: Graveborn, the deck saw a drastic transformation. Several following modifications resulted in what this deck looks like now.
There should be no surprises on how the deck funcions. Anyone familiar with Graveborn should know that Buried Alive is the main graveyard builder and Animate Dead puts the creatures into play.
But what are we getting? With a single Swamp, a Dark Ritual and a Buried Alive we can get a Sphinx of the Steel Wind, a Blazing Archon and Sheoldred, Whispering One into the graveyard, and reanimate one of those in turn 2. Putrid Imp and Hidden Horror let us discard creatures like Crater Hellion or Crosis, the Purger for later reanimation with Diabolic Servitude, and Dread Return help us get back creatures like Inkwell Leviathan and Avatar of Woe. Try these in any combination.
