God Pharaoh's Gift (Standard)

Seriously made this with 'extra' cards from booster purchases just for the flavor of it. Cards I mostly overlooked as being, well, garbage. Running a 7 cost artifact seems a little much.

Then I actually read gate to the afterlife, and realized something was being 'gifted' to us.

This deck is, actually, quite strong. Only 7 cards do not cycle. 21 cycle creatures ensure that you are dumping all of them into the graveyard as you frantically search for the key components.

I can not overstate just how powerful archfiend and curator are - simply devastating to your opponent's board. Pay a single mana to:

Cycle
Scry
Draw
put -1/-1 on their entire board

Imagine a couple of each of them on the board. A single cycle to put 2 -1/-1 counters and/or scry 2x.

And you really don't mind cycling creatures, they are all coming back thanks to the gift.

I tried to make it so only a single mana was required to get a cycle in, however archfiend and vile manifestation are just so amazing in the deck they got included.

So, a splash of red for the big fella himself, Nicol Bolas. Like I said, I built this deck merely for the flavor, and, it turns out, with only 7 cards that don't cycle, you rip through your deck, cycling, countering, and playing the big guy on turn 7 while gifting yourself another creature, and casting something from your opponent's library while upping the loyalty on your planeswalker.

This deck is, quite simply, devastating.
