Budget Black Beginner (Standard)

This is a friendly (and cheap) deck to help you get into magic and learn the true essence of the color black! Fight your opponent with your small but powerful creatures! Deathtouch allows you to attack with impunity, turn after turn and either damage your opponent, or destroy one of their creatures! It's a win win! You also have some creatures that can fly, making it harder for them to block and easier for you to go straight for the throat. Black is also known for its recursion, and there are quite a few ways to get your creatures back. Traded one of your creatures with deathtouch? No biggie. Use either Isareth, the Awakener, Recover or Memorial to Folly to get it back. (Although there are drawback to all of these; exiled upon exit, sacrifice a land, or putting into your hand instead of the battlefield). Black is most infamous for its kill spells though, letting you deal with any threat. Murder, Moment of Craving and Ravenous Chupacabra all allow you to destroy one of your opponents creatures. Using your cunning and skill, sneak past your opponents defenses and slowly kill your opponents before they even notice!
