The purpose of the deck is to constantly play extra turns combining evasive creatures (unblockable, flying) to the commander's ability. By drawing a large amount of cards and recurring the spells you can expect to play enough spells to win the game.
Group hug commander ?? By attacking each other your opponents leave you alone ?? Well not really the ability of the commander is so powerful and you snowball so fast that you become the archenemy. As such the list contains a good amount of control and counterspells to protect your plan.
