> 🧠 Strategy

1. This deck's archetype leans more towards Toxic rather than Infect. Unlike the Infect strategy, which focuses on quickly buffing evasive creatures to rapidly eliminate a single player, this approach is more mid-range. The goal is to distribute poison counters among all opponents and then extensively use proliferate.

2. Apply poison counters either directly or through combat damage, then amplify these counters using Proliferate mechanics.

3. As a themed deck, some conventional staples are omitted to enhance thematic consistency. Preference is given to Phyrexian cards wherever possible to maintain the deck's flavor.

4. Using the Commander is not essential for victory. The deck's protection package is relatively modest, but its adequacy will be reassessed after several gameplay sessions.

> ⛰️ Lands and Mana Base

• The deck includes 37 lands, which is slightly above the typical count. However, with a four-color mana requirement in the commander's converted mana cost, ensuring consistent land drops is crucial.

• While the number of tap lands has been deliberately reduced, a few triomes have been incorporated for their utility and color-fixing capabilities.

> ⬆️ Ramp & Fixing

• In a four-color deck, the focus is on mana rocks that are easy to cast and provide extensive color fixing. Key choices include Fellwar Stone, Arcane Signet, and Chromatic Lantern for their efficient mana-fixing capabilities.

• Given the high number of proliferating spells, the deck utilizes cards that benefit from counters. Astral Cornucopia is included for its ability to generate colored mana, alongside Everflowing Chalice and the newly added Glistening Sphere. The inclusion of Coalition Relic is also under consideration.

• The deck takes a cautious approach with mana dorks to avoid encouraging board wipes. Myr Convert has been included for its utility, but Plague Myr was excluded due to its production of only colorless mana.

> ⬆️ Draw and Card Advantage

• The deck capitalizes on draw triggers that synergize with the proliferate mechanism.

• Emphasizing flavor, Phyrexian Arena is preferred over Black Market Connection.

• Teferi, Master of Time and Rhystic Study are indispensable in this deck due to their exceptional synergy and effectiveness.

• Cards with effects similar to Prologue to Phyresis prove to be highly beneficial.

• It's important to note that the current deck list does not include tutors, though this may change in the future.
