Though its rather expensive Crucible of Worlds is a must in any Gitrog Monster deck.

Would definitely play that in a modern version yes. Sadly not standard legal.

I like the way this works, however I still have a few suggestions.  I would nix the loam larva. It's fine in limited but I think a 4 of tireless tracker is better value.  If you want to fix, I think this deck would do great with fork in the road, puts a land into play, and one in the grave yard which can draw you a card with field monster out. Also gives you great ramp with splendid reclamation.  It also feels like you need some actual removal, currently, I saw none. A one of seasons past might be a good idea too.  You also may want to run a few more lands of you are going to be sacrificing them

Revisions made. No change in lands as 24 seems to work in testing. I think you're right about removal.

Revision 4

Added/removed cards:
-3 Loam Larva
-2 Retreat to Hagra
-2 Stoic Builder
+2 Grasp of Darkness
+3 Lightning Axe

Changed amounts:
+1 Sylvan Advocate

Updates. Ghirapur Orrery was always disappointing to draw. I've replaced them with an extra basic land and an extra Natural Connection for getting to 6 lands (key for Dragonmaster Outcast and Sylvan Advocate). I've also cut a pulse of Murasa for more removal in an extra mainboard Grasp of Darkness.

I've put together a sideboard. Not sure if I missed anything obvious.

Revision 5

Added/removed cards:
-2 Ghirapur Orrery
+1 Swamp
+3 (SB) Appetite for the Unnatural
+2 (SB) Flaying Tendrils
+2 (SB) Natural State
+2 (SB) Ruinous Path
+3 (SB) Transgress the Mind

Changed amounts:
+1 Grasp of Darkness
+1 Natural Connection
-1 (Main) +2 (SB) Pulse of Murasa
+1 (SB) Tireless Tracker

Your deck it's amazing! Let me recommend you Ulvenwald Hydra: with all your land, it's absolutely amazing and you can search a land a put it into the battlefield.
Maybe a copy of Nissa, Vital Force. I prefer Attune with Aether better than Natural Connection (costs only 1 mana).
Lost Legacy for the sideboard against combo decks.

You have my like!

Please, it would be great if you (an all), could go to this deck (similar) to help me: https://deckstats.net/decks/72391/662797-ghirapur-noorrery-v3-5c

Thanks!!

The main reason I'm running Nat Con over Attune is that it actually ramps as opposed to getting lands to hand. I can (in theory admittedly) start getting 4/5 Advocates on turn 4, and Dragons Turn 5 (Magical Christmas Land, I know). Lost Legacy is good. I'm not sure I can afford another big creature in the deck, though I will consider the Hydra.

I think you need to run fewer Gitrog. I get that it's the point of the deck but with that many of a legendary creature you may run into some dead draws before you can play him.

Once you get a Gitrog out you have so much draw that the occasional dead draw is okay.
