Hmm.. I've got a Xantcha deck myself, but the Focus is entirely different. Still I think that there is an important card missing: Harmless Offering. Once the player that controls xantcha dies, you get her back. Harmless Offering would help you against this situation.

about multiplayer, here is the errdata:

In a multiplayer game, if a player leaves the game, all cards that player owns leave as well. If the player under whose control Xantcha entered the battlefield leaves the game, the effect changing control of Xantcha ends.

Usually this doesn't break your neck, but you should be aware of this.

The difference to Captive Audience (another nice card for xantcha btw) is, that xantcha first enters the battlefield and afterwards the static ability (changing controller) activates. The audience enters under an opponents control and will be exiled if the controlling player dies.
