hey all. so im thinking of a superfriends deck with xavier sal, infested captain.
im not huge on proliferate and whatnot but would love some advice and tips.

the Basic Gist is generate a buttload of tokens and sac them to proliferate as much as possible.

i know this can be better and iw ant to make it the best as possible.

love the deck idea. i just have a few questions?
are you planning on buying the cards necessary? or are you playing online where money is no issue?

if you're not purchasing cards and you're playing online i recommend grabbing doubling season, anointed procession, and parallel lives. (i see theyre in your maybe board, just put em in) essentially allowing you to sextuple the amount of tokens you create at any given time. then removing Birthing Pod, Cankerbloom, and Mulldrifter.
while they're great for card draw you already have rhystic study. which is PLENTY of card draw. especially in 3 person or higher games.

hardnened scales is also a great 1 drop enchantment for extra +1+1 counters. but its not necessary.

even without all that the deck is fantastic and if its your first selfmade commander deck im SUPER proud of you.

i made a similar deck to this one you can take a look at to get any other ideas if youd like.

ok so my buddies are DEMANDSING me to make an artifact deck. i dont like artifact decks. i love me some normal tribal but artifacts never called to me. so i did what i do best. i made a tribal deck. now im not super familiar with artifacts and i was wondering if i could get some help to make this bastard a FORCE to be reckoned with.

WOW. thank you for all the suggestions. im definitely going to make lots of changes now. this has been incredibly helpful
to answer your questions:
oppressiveness: my friend group plays online using tabletop simulator. money isnt a factor so some CRAZY decks get made. (my buddy has an artifact deck that can pull Bightsteel Colossus turn 4 or 5). by oppressiveness i want to have something that my group goes "oh shit here it comes" something that MAKES them target me.
we allow any playstyle. its all for fun.
my favorite playstyles are Tribal. (i have a very oppressive Varina Zombie Tribal deck thats my favorite) and Spellslinger. i almost always theme my decks behind something (zombie apocalypse, Captain N'gathrod as Davy Jones, Ovika weenies, etc.) but im open to anything

SO. i got bored and tried a deck type ive NEVER attempted before. an Equipment deck. i dont like artifact decks much. just not my style so i have no clue what im doing. i THINK this deck is good. its ok. its fun to play but its not OPPRESSIVE enough. i want my homies to FELL the tension of nut stepping.

so what can i do to improve? does anyone run something similar? help a brother out.

so ive been working for years on q decent zombie tribal deck. ive tried damn near every color combination you can think of but NOW i think ive found the best version of this deck i can make.
