Wow, I really don't know why I thought I could do that with the dual mana cards.  Well, that's embarrassing.  Lightning Greaves was on the border of being included, and that pushed it over the edge, so I'll put that in.  Cavern of Souls is definitely worth including, and will replace a mountain.  I feel like actual combat is a bit of an afterthought here, but Generator Servant feels ahead of Hall of the Bandit Lord because you aren't spending 3 life on a haste creature when you really don't need it, whereas the generator servant lets you power Neheb out earlier.  I already put in Fall of the Titans before reading this, and it definitely deserved a slot.  Chandra's Ignition is 5 mana to make 12 mana, ideally.  The board wipe is an added bonus, but cards like Flamebreak do the job better, even if it produces a few less mana, it will net you about the same amount.  A card that would go in before this is Breath of Darigaaz.  In fact, I think I'll include that.  Loreseeker's Stone is a nice way to get you to draw cards, although I think Staff of Nin would work about the same here while giving you mana.  I like Rogue's Gloves and Mask of Memory, however, and I think those will find a place here unless I see something better.

Primers / Re: Scarab God "Control" PRIMER
« on: May 04, 2020, 05:03:01 pm »
Hey, I really love this deck and primer!  I was inspired to make a scarab god deck a while ago because of this list, and used it heavily to help me make mine, although I dropped a lot of the tribal part for more of a control/mill build.

My first primer!  Tell me if I messed up on spelling or anything, because I kinda rushed through the end of this.  Also, please tell me more of what to include in the exclusions. Thanks!

Ok, I took out some stuff, but I left sidisi in, sometimes she's helpful.  I'll playtest both to see how I like them today.

Ok, that makes sense, and I think that it would work, so I think that I would like to make a Korvold list and keep refining the Prossh deck along the way, and then play both after I'm done to see which one I enjoy playing more.

Hmm, that is true.  Wouldn't Korvold need a creature to do that, though?  That adds some more things to look up since he can't go infinite on his own, and then you need a sac outlet as well, which seems too much to assemble.  Could you tell me more about how Korvold works? Another reason I'm reluctant to switch is that I already have a casual Korvold deck, but if you can try to convince me, I could switch.  For now though, I'm leaning towards Prossh.

https://deckstats.net/decks/146412/1621614-cedh-prossh-food-chain

This is my prossh deck I made a few days ago.  I looked a bunch of lists and primers, and this is the list I have.  This is my first, and idk if I'm doing it right.  I goldfished this a lot and it seems pretty fast, and I can set up food chain most of the time quickly, but every once in a while I have food chain out and infinite creature mana and kobolds, but then I get stuck there and I can't do anything.  Should I just add more tutors?  Anyways, could y'all take a look at it and give me some feedback?  Thanks!

Hmm, maybe, since it comes down easier and can keep its power.  What do you think about mystic forge?

https://deckstats.net/decks/146412/1584378-artifact-sac-n-fling

This is a deck based around saccing and cantripping small artifacts to generate value and buff an atog or a ravenous intruder so you can swing or fling it.  It work well with the right hand but dosen't have enough draw at the moment, and it would be helpful if y'all could look at it and tell me what I should change or insert from the sideboard.  The biggest thing I'm debating right now is mystic forge.  Its a 4 drop, and that means it takes up all my mana on turn 4 when I could drop a couple of artifacts instead.  It could really help since I have lots of artifacts, but I'm not sure its worth the drop in tempo.  Can you guys help?
Thanks

Commander Deck Reviews / Scarab God - Too much Mill?
« on: March 21, 2020, 12:24:47 am »
Hey guys, I recently made a Scarab God deck that focuses on milling the opponents tons to get targets for him, but I was wondering If I leaned a bit too hard on the mill theme.  I'm also just looking for advice in general, thanks!

Hey, I just use Untap.in, and that works well, as there are a good amount of people on at any given time and I like the interfaces.  You could try it if you want reduced wait times.

This deck looks really fun!  Sorry for this nitpick, but could you put Yarok in the command zone?
