Have you played this deck at all? If so, how does it do? Or is it just a construct on this site?

Yup.... That's hardcore. This is already ridiculous, all you need to do is drop in a Felidar Sovereign and it's an added win condition.

Hey, if it works, it works. My little brother runs a soldier tribal with a horrifyingly low mana ratio, but the deck runs amazingly well that way. We added four land and he started getting flooded. Some decks just work regardless. If yours does, that's great. It's a good one too.

I like it. Seems like a fun deck. Spendy, but fun.

Thunderbreak Regent is a beast. Plus it provides cover for the Avaricious Dragon, who kind of serves as the Madness engine. Personally I like the idea, but I also really like dragons... And yeah, those Heirs of Falkenreath are good ones. I helped a friend build a Vampire tribal and then had him proceed to beat the crap out of me with that card... They can win games for sure.

Like I said, it's a strong build. There really isn't a ton to change. If there are any thoughts I could offer they would mainly revolve around adding just a little more life gain. Kalitas' Lifelink is good and all, but he is a massive target for removal. What's more is that I played against a deck a little while ago that ran heavily on Llanwar Wastes (the green/black version of Cave) and they took a pretty heavy toll on his life total over the course of the game. So, maybe add or at least sideboard something like Tenacity or Ondu Rising. You could drop Self-Inflicted Wounds for that.

Another thought is to squeeze another Displacer in there if you can, maybe at the cost of one of the Stranglers. Blinking a Seer repeatedly is a fantastic way to control your opponent's hand. Maybe help mitigate their removal of your things or counters to them. It can also protect your creatures from destruction. Basically it is a very powerful ability that is at your disposal. An extra would increase the likelihood of drawing one.

Lastly, maybe a little ramp. If nothing else, than in the sideboard. Hedron Archive is a personal favorite as it drops for four mana and taps for two. It's amazing what can be done with seven mana on turn five. Other options though, could be Kozilek's Channeler or Sifter Of Skulls. Both are Eldrazi. Both work.

Those are some thoughts. The one I would feel the strongest about though is the life gain one. The guy I played couldn't get all his colors out and had to rely on those lands, which hurt him a lot. I almost felt bad because I really beat the crap out of him for it...

Sounds good. Test it and let me know if my synopsis was a good one. I'm curious.

So, all in all the strategy seems pretty sound. Cheap control spells and frequent Things flipping, but after playing around with it a bit it feels like land is something the deck does need more of. It almost gets away with the low ratio due to the low cost of spells but it felt like it took a lot of mulligans to get there. One less Jace and Narset and two more land might be just enough to get it rolling a lot more smoothly.

Just my thought.

Expensive indeed. Plus Vaccuumelt is an old, blue...card. Though I'm betting it isn't supposed to be part of that sideboard. Not really. It's a pretty solid build though. I've seen a number of decks like it since Oath came out. The Smasher and the Seer are annoying, plus Kalitas ends any and all recursion strategies. It's a solid deck.

I dig it. I was actually thinking recently that the Avaricious Dragon would be a powerhouse in a Madness deck, and this one looks good.

I love morphs. It warms my heart to see a deck out of them. Especially at this point.

Other than that it's pretty solid for what you're trying to do.

Some Rogue's Passages wouldn't hurt. That way you can make the Husk unblockable and ensure the damage it'll do.

Good deck. Judging by the little hand tester, it ramps both consistently and smoothly. Very nice.
